Woman: I can't get it to play episode two, it's IMPOSSIBLE. Only episode one plays.
Me: Alright, I'll take a look at it here. Are you on the episode selection screen?
Woman: Yes. It's on a Toshiba TV, got it around the holidays, if that helps.
Me: Okay, now select episode two and hit enter, tell me what you see playing...
Woman: Hold on hold on I'm new to this stuff. Okay the box that says "Episode 1" is fuzzy but the box for "Episode Two" is much clearer.
Me: Okay, so I need you to hit the right arrow on your remote to select episode two.
Woman: I'm aiming it at episode 2, now I hit enter?
Me: You need to select it by using the right arrow, then hit enter.
Woman: Alright I'm aiming it at "Episode 2" and I hit enter. Episode one is playing!
Me: Let the program run for about a minute, each episode has the same opening sequence.
Woman (30 seconds later): Nope! It's episode one again!
Me: Okay let's go back out to the menu and try again, hit the "Menu" button...
Woman: Hold on hold on hold on. Okay. Um. (20 seconds go by) Okay I am at the menu. And I just chose "Episode Selection". "Episode One" is fuzzy [she is referring the the highlight used to indicate that episode one is selected] and "Episode Two" is clear.
Me: That fuzziness is the highlight. Now select "Episode 2" with the right arrow.
Woman: Arrow?
Me: Yes, on your remote, it's usually an "Enter" or "OK" button surrounded by four arrows.
Woman: Oh my god! I hit the one on the right, and now "Episode Two" is fuzzy.
Me: Now hit the enter button.
Woman: Okay...Episode one again!
Me: Try fast forwarding for a minute through the opening credits.
Woman: (about 10 seconds passes) OH MY GOD YOU ARE A GENIUS.
Me: Glad I could help, enjoy your DVD. (hangs up)
At this point 4 or 5 people had gathered behind my desk and we all burst out laughing.

My second Beatles post in as many days, trend? Probably not.
I’m not a huge fan of these band themed release for Guitar Hero or Rock Band. I wish they would at least offer it as downloadable content as well. I’d like some Aerosmith or Metallica songs, but I don’t want to pay $50 for about $12 worth of songs I’d actually play.
