Original Cast + New Cast = GHOSTBUSTERS III!!! →
Sounds awesome, as long the original cast/creative team is involved it will probably be good. Give Bill however many truckloads of money he wants. Also check out the trailer for the video game that’s through this link, I’m officially excited for it now.

See this for the original article. This movie was awesome, even with dumbed down subtitles. Full thoughts here (Contains Spoilers). Hey Crystalliferous, we should buy the properly subtitled Blu-ray when it’s released. EDIT: As a Consumerist commenter noted, this would be a perfect opportunity to use BD-Live to allow users to download the new subtitle track rather than produce a new...

I’m thinking about getting it, but I’d like some opinions.
"The Dark Knight Returns" details →
Definitely the coolest post of the day. Maybe the week.
A call got forwarded to me at work today. It's...
Woman: I can't get it to play episode two, it's IMPOSSIBLE. Only episode one plays.
Me: Alright, I'll take a look at it here. Are you on the episode selection screen?
Woman: Yes. It's on a Toshiba TV, got it around the holidays, if that helps.
Me: Okay, now select episode two and hit enter, tell me what you see playing...
Woman: Hold on hold on I'm new to this stuff. Okay the box that says "Episode 1" is fuzzy but the box for "Episode Two" is much clearer.
Me: Okay, so I need you to hit the right arrow on your remote to select episode two.
Woman: I'm aiming it at episode 2, now I hit enter?
Me: You need to select it by using the right arrow, then hit enter.
Woman: Alright I'm aiming it at "Episode 2" and I hit enter. Episode one is playing!
Me: Let the program run for about a minute, each episode has the same opening sequence.
Woman (30 seconds later): Nope! It's episode one again!
Me: Okay let's go back out to the menu and try again, hit the "Menu" button...
Woman: Hold on hold on hold on. Okay. Um. (20 seconds go by) Okay I am at the menu. And I just chose "Episode Selection". "Episode One" is fuzzy [she is referring the the highlight used to indicate that episode one is selected] and "Episode Two" is clear.
Me: That fuzziness is the highlight. Now select "Episode 2" with the right arrow.
Me: Yes, on your remote, it's usually an "Enter" or "OK" button surrounded by four arrows.
Woman: Oh my god! I hit the one on the right, and now "Episode Two" is fuzzy.
Me: Now hit the enter button.
Woman: Okay...Episode one again!
Me: Try fast forwarding for a minute through the opening credits.
Woman: (about 10 seconds passes) OH MY GOD YOU ARE A GENIUS.
Me: Glad I could help, enjoy your DVD. (hangs up)
At this point 4 or 5 people had gathered behind my desk and we all burst out laughing.
The Beatles: Rock Band dropping 9/9/09 →
My second Beatles post in as many days, trend? Probably not. I’m not a huge fan of these band themed release for Guitar Hero or Rock Band. I wish they would at least offer it as downloadable content as well. I’d like some Aerosmith or Metallica songs, but I don’t want to pay $50 for about $12 worth of songs I’d actually play. But this one could be cool. When Harmonix...
Ricky Gervais: Do you think art should ever be censored?
Karl Pilkington: It’s where you put it. If it’s in a gallery then it doesn’t have to be censored. If it’s in Trafalgar Square where everyone’s wandering around having a nice time, you don’t want a twelve foot cock.
